Directions for Making A Infant Hat:

  1. First you will need to make sure you have yarn (you don’t need a lot) and a size 3.75MM needle.
  2. Cast on 55 stitches.
  3. 1st-10th row: Double Crochet
  4. 11th row: Double Crochet every other stitch
  5. 12th row: Double Crochet every stitch
  6. 13th row: Double Crochet every other stitch
  7. Finishing up: Double Crochet every other stitch until the end and then put the two ends together and “sew” (crochet) them together and then knot the end and cut. Turn inside-out and roll the two bottom rows up to get the cuff.

Hello Becca! Your blog is so cute! Thank you for posting on a homemade Christmas. The burp rags are so cute, and these baby hats are precious (I especially like the light blue one!).

    Blessings to your weekend!

These are so well done! I have made dozens of these over the years but have not crocheted in 2 years due to carpal tunnel and arthritis. I really miss it! I can knit but not for extended periods of time. Be sure to take breaks to rest your wrists :o )
Do you find patterns online? There are sooo many sites for free.
GOd bless you as you bless others with your gifts, Mrs. Maurer

    Mrs. Maurer,

Thank you so much for commenting again!!! I did not know you have carpal tunnel and arthritis! I have seen the shawls that you have made. They are so beautiful! What were you working on at Financial Peace a few weeks back?

I have never looked fro online patterns! Do you google to find the best ones or do you have a certain website that you suggest.

I am looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!

    Love,
    Becca

Transformational Thoughts for Your Spiritual Journey Holiness Day by Day: Transformational Thoughts for Your Spiritual Journey by Jerry Bridges

My review

I am currently reading this book during my devotions. It is so good! I like it because it reminds me of the gospel on every single page. I need to hear the gospel because I often fall into condemnation over my sin. I highly recommend this book. You will benefit from the wisdom that Mr. Bridges has!

Almost a year ago, my mom had a free night at a hotel in the area. My mom, sister, and I headed out for a night of monk episodes :) and we went through this book. It is a great book because it helped me to understand how much planning makes your day better! When I say better, I mean that when you have a plan of what you are doing, there is less opportunity to waste your day away. They also reminded me of how important it is to spend time in the Bible at the beginning of the day. I highly recommend this book!
