Introducing…Fun Fact Friday!

November 21, 2008

Today is the beginning of a weekly fun fact that I will try to post each Friday. Some will be money saving ideas, or just random facts. Today is a money saving idea!

imagesCole’s Salon has stylists-in-training and so you need to call and ask if they need any hair models. If they do, you can and get your hair cut for free! It takes close to two hours though so make sure you have the time. If it totally worth it though! I got my hair cut on November 4th and the stylist did a wonderful job! I would say it probably the best haircut I have had in awhile.

So check out Cole’s Salon! A free hair is pretty nice! So, that was my first Fun Fact Friday

Transformational Thoughts for Your Spiritual Journey Holiness Day by Day: Transformational Thoughts for Your Spiritual Journey by Jerry Bridges

My review

I am currently reading this book during my devotions. It is so good! I like it because it reminds me of the gospel on every single page. I need to hear the gospel because I often fall into condemnation over my sin. I highly recommend this book. You will benefit from the wisdom that Mr. Bridges has!

Almost a year ago, my mom had a free night at a hotel in the area. My mom, sister, and I headed out for a night of monk episodes :) and we went through this book. It is a great book because it helped me to understand how much planning makes your day better! When I say better, I mean that when you have a plan of what you are doing, there is less opportunity to waste your day away. They also reminded me of how important it is to spend time in the Bible at the beginning of the day. I highly recommend this book!
